Steed Home in Syracuse, Utah (Built in 1902)

Welcome To the Steed Family Web site.
In 1902 the large home on the Syracuse farm was completed. T. Joseph tells that the rocks for the foundation were hauled from Farmington, one load a day. The orange-red brick came from Kaysville. He and Louise occupied the home in 1928, and 8 children later, the house did not seem big enough.

Louise relates of those early years: "It was the beginning of the depression and money was very scarce, so most of the high ceiling rooms were left bare. We furnished the large back kitchen, south living room and converted our little kitchen into a bedroom. The rest of the house echoed when the wind rattled the transoms. I was almost afraid to be alone for an evening. As the years sped quickly along, the creaking emptiness of the rooms changed with the romping of little feet up and down the stairs, and the wind sounds were drowned out with the cries and laughter of children at their play. And we wondered what we would have done with one square foot less."
Thanks to all who helped put together a terrific 2011 Steed Farm reunion!.

Soccer vs Cheap NHL Chad Johnson jerseys Basketball

I want to start my article by criticizing myself for calling football as . Although I hate calling football as I know that most of audience is Americans and what they call football isn't football. (As a sports admirer I watched American football matches and kind Boston Bruins jerseys of like the game but I am against a game played with hands being called football:)

There are two kind of people lovers and basketball lovers. What is the differences between those two games. (I can hear you saying: ""One is played with foot, other with hands."":)

Soccer is more of a team work. One man can change everything. (Michael Jordan. It doesn't matter how tall or muscled you are. You have to have good ball and a hoop at least. You go out and play for 2 halves of 45 minutes without any period other than 15 minutes half time.

As you can observe I am a man of . If you have any more item to add to this list feel free to Tuukka Rask jerseys for sale comment.

And yes one is played with foot other one is played with hands :)

Why are you comparing apples to oranges? Actually the stratagies and theories between the two sports are extreemly similar. I have recieved training and played both at pretty high levels and, as you may know, basketball player benifit greatly from playing . For instance I have always said that indoor is basketball played with your feet.

I accedently pushed some button. Anyway, I want to continue my comment. In basketball, even if you lead by 20, you don't win for sure.

1. Basketball requires skill and teamwork, not just running the whole field and kicking a ball.

2. Basketball develops strength.

3. Basketball is interesting. You can lead by 40 points and still lose the game eventually.

4. Basketball isn't boring. Sorry, but I can't stand to watch 90 minutes of a game where the scoring board can stay 0 0.

5. You don't need equipment for basketball. You can play basketball with a coke can and a trashcan, owned huh?

6. NBA > Champions league/mondeal/whatever. And since it is a team sport as such it takes a team to win a championship not just one man. JACK ASS

Don't let these Yanks (I'm one too) throw you around. I agree with you on a lot of what you say. Basketball is also a team sport though, but you're right in saying that one player can take over a game. That's true in as well, but triple teaming Kobe is a lot more effective than triple teaming, say, Leo Messi.
